Iva-write
Write so people get it the first time.
Give it an email, a help page or a policy, and get back text a busy reader understands on the first pass. It follows the writing rules GOV.UK uses for every page it publishes.

- Also works with ChatGPT and Gemini
Copy instructions also works with other AI assistants, such as ChatGPT or Gemini. What it can do there may be limited by your plan and by the assistant.

What it does
Every time you use it, the skill:
Puts the answer the reader came for in the first paragraph
Swaps long words for short ones: buy, not purchase; help, not assist
Splits any sentence over 25 words
Makes headings, lists, numbers and dates follow one consistent style
After a rewrite, lists up to 5 changes and the rule behind each one
Not built for: Marketing copy and creative writing. The style is deliberately plain, so the skill tells you when a text needs warmth instead of flattening it.

A real request and the answer the skill gives.
Rewritten
If you need help with your application, contact our support team.
What changed
- "in the event that" became "if"
- "facilitate a timely resolution" said nothing, so it went
- "please do not hesitate" is padding
